The Week in Review

Monday:
Started off late but that's pretty usual for me on a Monday. Maybe it was the shopping on Sunday. I had to find an outfit for my mother-in-laws Christmas party on Saturday. I opted for simple black pants and a sheer black sweater that I plan to wear a nice red tank under. You know I have the good seat in the office and get to see all the people who come through the back, including Marisa. She walks in wearing the exact same outfit that I just bought on Sunday. I got a huge kick out of that.
Krunk Daddy, Lamar and I finally checked out that new restaurant for lunch, Harmoni Market on Edgewater. It was quite tasty, in our average price range and they have a market to browse and shop when you finish your meal. The best thing in the market was the beer tap that was just out in the open for anyone. You know I had to take a sample. It was actually really tasty for beer. While at lunch, I learned an interesting fact about Sparkles. She has a crush on The Roomie. She sent him an email including something about "give me a call if you ever want to hang out outside of work." I don't think the feelings are mutual. Speaking of Sparkles, she's pretty dressed up today. I don't know if it's for The Roomie or for the Christmas party/meeting today. I'll try to get a picture for you. I also learned that the Vegans have a video on sluaghter houses that is supposed to be pretty crazy. I think Krunk Daddy's going to watch it, so you can ask him for details if you even want them.
The best part of Monday was the following email from Brillo Top:
Whoever took the can of Diet Coke from the Break Room refrigerator, I’d appreciate a replacement.
I guess the food thief is back. This leads me to...
Tuesday:
I run into Brillo Top in the kitchen as she is putting her bottle of Diet Pepsi in the fridge. She brings up the theft from the previous day and says she is prepared this time. She got a bottle so she could take a sip from it and put it in the fridge. The fact that it is open, she hopes will deter the thief. If it does not, she's got a surprise for them because she is sick and THEY WILL get her germs if they take that bottle of Diet Pepsi. Made me think of Natalie and the eye drops.
Wednesday:
Today just prompted 2 questions in my head.
1. Why do people choose doorways for impromptu meetings?
2. If you had a meeting tomorrow, would you wait until today to try and order chairs and breakfast for it? Chuck Norris does.
Thursday:
I was informed by Country that he is going on vacation tomorrow and all next week. He also said that the Sports Commentator will be out next week. He advised that I can come and go as I please as long as all the work gets done. Woo Hoo for me! It's like an in-house vacation for me. I hope the warehouse doesn't explode.
Friday:
Today is our holiday gamling party at NBA city. I will try to get some pictures for you. I am sure all kinds of weird stuff will probably happen. Hopefully I will remember it long enough to relay to you. Until then,

Tickle Me Old School

There's a new Tickle Me Elmo on the block. This one is going old school instead of futuristic like it's partner TMX. Or so you would believe if you overheard Mustache this morning talking to Motorcycle Man (MM). Mustache was trying to make a joke about how MM is always ON THE MOVE like Tickle Me Elmo. He said they both had a string you pull to get the going, the only difference being that Elmo's string has a loop on the end to make it stop and MM's is perpetual. Gone are the days of tickling your Elmo. Now we just pull a string like back in the day. Got to love that.

We got two different kinds of cake to celebrate this month's birthdays. Red Velvet and Yellow with Chocolate frosting.
