Were the rules really made to be broken?
Why do I feel like one of the few people in this company that actually attempts to follow policy and procedure? Is it so frustrating, especially now that I am in this position which is full of policy and procedure. I can't do my job right because others won't do thier's right. Is it lack of training or just pure lack of respect for others? I say the latter. I understand that we are inundated with emails everyday and it may be hard to read them all but come on, that's part of the job. It's not my fault that email is the main form of communication around here, God forbid we actually talk face it face about something important. I read email that is not even meant for me, although I have finally been removed from the AA list so I won't be getting those anymore. I read them and ask questions if I have any, especially if it's a new procedure that doesn't quite make sense or that I have issue with. I don't just move them to a folder and then deny they ever existed. UUGGHH!
I hear someone in accounting has an inflatable bat that they beat people with. I need to borrow it and put rocks in there. Wasn't I supposed to get a stick? Just another promise broken to go along with all the broken rules.
Will Work For Shoes (and conformity to rules)

Shoe Whore,
I understand your woes, the drawbacks of being a productive genius amidst fucking idiots. Such extremes in the workplace will drive you to the bat. I've also witnessed those stank looks you give, so Spraggy had better watch out. I think I'd opt for the bat than that face (usually sofa king adorable) all scrunched up with distaste. Yowsers!
If they are afraid to talk to you face to face, I'm left wondering if they've ever seen you pissed, and if so... well, I kind of understand the fear. Hehe...
