Crack Kittens and the Water Wasters
Lunch was fun yesterday. Krunk Daddy and I ate together in the breakroom. There was a new bulletin posted by Peta. Apparently a friend of her's bought a house in the Parramore district so they can refurbish it and they found a cat and two kittens. The special thing about this house, or maybe it's the special thing about the cats, is that it was a former "crack" house. I found this to be extraneous information that could seriously alter anyone's decision to adopt these poor crack kitties. It can either turn people off ( it turned me off) or make people feel sorry for the cats (I kinda did.)
We joked about that most of the lunch (we asked almost everyone who came in the room if they wanted a crack kitty, no one did.) We were about to go back to our desks for work and I noticed a puddle of water had formed under me. I hadn't spilled anything and my seat was dry so Krunk Daddy and I had to investigate. We discovered that one of the 5 gallon bottles had small cracks in the bottom and was slowly leaking. We wondered how to solve this problem. Put the bottle on the cooler perhaps? No, there's a full one on there. So I say let's just dump it in the sink. As we are dumping it, Peta returns from lunch and goes to put her left overs in the fridge. She asks what we are doing. We explain and she wants to know why we would just dump it in the sink. I think she assumed the we hadn't considered putting it on the cooler. She asked about the cooler in the back. I told her it was full because the guy changes them every time he makes a delivery and had just been here that morning. Plus it would have been risky to carry a 5 gallon bottle of water with a fragile bottom through the office. We continued to dump the water and she left the room. We should have just handed the bottle to her and let her deal with it. Maybe she could donate it to the animals or something. I think our water wasting truly offended her.
We're all supposed to go to lunch together today for Thanksgiving. I'd better go and decide the destination. Happy Turkey Day everyone.

Crack Kitties. Like just because they lived in a crack house means they were addicted... so funny. I love it.
